Synopsis:

 

After her mother’s death when she was six, Victoria Gibson was raised by her grandparents. Her mother’s only wish was for her to live a normal, happy life. Her grandparents did their best providing endless love, protection, stability, and support. But they weren’t enough. And what was normal to them was not normal to everyone else. Growing up, she was always awkward and strange to her classmates. But her uniqueness also attracted her two best friends, Phoebe Dawson and Samantha Anderson. When she fell in love with Phoebe’s brother at fourteen, Sean - eighteen, getting him to notice her was the biggest challenge because he had known her all his life. In his eyes, he saw her as a burden, a pest, and a child, his little sister’s best friend. With beautiful, older girls constantly surrounding him, she held on to her dreams of him, yearning for the day he would look at her differently.
